Join us on Sunday, October 8 at the Hennage Auditorium to hear Susan Kern, Associate Professor and Director of Historic Preservation Program at University of Maryland School of Architecture, Planning, and Preservation, discuss the Jeffersons at Shadwell. Her book, The Jeffersons at Shadwell, details archaeological evidence that reveals how the Jeffersons and the people they enslaved established families and maintained connections across colonial Virginia.
