About The Event

In support of the America 250! commemoration, join acclaimed historian Mark Lender for a gripping exploration of the American Revolution as a war fought with extraordinary ferocity. War Without Mercy reveals how patriots and loyalists alike believed their survival—political, cultural, and even physical—was at stake, leading to a brutal conflict where “Liberty or Death” was far more than a slogan.

Drawing on extensive research and rarely seen primary sources, this powerful new history examines why the Revolution became so violent—and how that legacy shaped the nation’s founding.
