This program is part of the “Reconsidering Bacon’s Rebellion at 350 Years” series, in collaboration with Preservation Virginia and partner organizations.
We will take the Jamestown-Scotland Ferry from Williamsburg one-way, enjoy an early dinner at Surry Seafood Company (pay-your-own) and head to Bacon's Castle for tour highlights and the Program (6 PM-8 PM), then drive back to Williamsburg.
This will be a carpool-based event, and we strongly encourage members to ride together. We have several chauffeurs who have already volunteered to drive. Carpooling will help ensure everyone can attend comfortably and arrive together. We will provide meeting location details and carpool coordination closer to the event.
A special group rate of $12 per person has been offered to TVHS members and their guests, registration in advance is required. Payment can be made by cash, check, or card on the day of the event (payable to TVHS). If you would like to mail your check ahead of time, please send to P.O. Box 427 Williamsburg, VA 23187.
